The Borralha Hotel, Restaurant & Spa, opened in 2017, located in the city of Vila Real, is distinguished by the contrast between the archaic and the contemporary. With a minimalist and refined decoration, the architecture of the old Manor House has been preserved and combined with the modernity of the new facilities, to provide a unique and exclusive service to our guests during their stays.

Vila Real is a city, county seat and district capital. It is located in the northern region of Portugal, and is situated on one of the slopes of the Serra do Marão, at the confluence of the rivers Corgo and Cabril. The native or inhabitant of Vila Real is called “Vila-Realense”. This district is made up of 14 concelhos and is bordered to the north by Spain, to the south by Viseu, to the east by Bragança, and to the west by Porto.
This city had a great demographic growth due to its privileged geographical situation, since it has connections between the coast and the interior, such as with Porto, Chaves, Bragança and the southern lands. A major growth occurred with the construction of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro in 1986. This increase contributed not only to the demographic increase, but also to the revitalisation of the population.

Trás-os-Montes

Parque Corgo
O parque Corgo está situado nas margens do rio que lhe dá o nome. Tem cerca de 33 hectares e conta com campos polidesportivos, itinerários pedestres, parques de merendas, piscinas municipais ao ar livre, parques infantis, cafés, Teatro Municipal, entre outros.
Foi construído no seguimento do programa de requalificação ambiental, e atualmente é a maior zona verde da cidade. É da total responsabilidade da Câmara Municipal, e é a ela que compete a sua preservação e conservação.
Longe da vida citadina, o parque corgo, é um ótimo sítio para se praticar desporto, comer uma refeição ao ar livre ou até mesmo ler um livro.
