What is the route of the “Caminho do Castelo” Buggy Tour?
The “Caminho do Castelo” tour will take you to visit the Rio Sordo, pass through a spectacular trail near the vineyards of Vila da Cumieira and stop at the viewpoint of the Old Castle of Arvorim, in the village of Arnadelo, where you can enjoy the wonderful scenery.
What is the route of the “Caminho da Vinha” Buggy Tour?
This tour starts on the banks of the Rio Corgo, passes by the Universidade Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro and follows the old train route that connected Vila Real to Régua, passes through the region’s most beautiful vineyards and olive groves and culminates at the MENIN Company Group’s Horta Osório winery, where you can taste the best of the Douro. Built on the top of a mountain, the winery enjoys breathtaking views of the Serra do Marão to the west and the River Corgo to the east.
The tour also includes a visit to the innovative winery, a presentation about the region, its grape varieties and wines. It also includes a tasting of some DOC Douro wines with a selection of cheeses and sausages to accompany them.
